The spa villa we had was fantastic, big 15 m infinity pool, Gym equipment, sauna and so on you dont have to get out of the villa. The food was excellent, superb salads that includes fruits original and healthy. Very good of long relaxing week end, just to unplug from the world.
Room service always bring paper tissue napkins, and I think at this level of hotel it is better to have real nice napkins.

The restaurant and especially its staff - very friendly and attentive
The pool is not heated (although it is written in the hotel description). According to our booking conditions, we could use the hotel SPA free of charge... But there is no SPA actually. There is only 1 restaurant instead of 2. Beach can be reached only by taxi. Sea view is not as good as on photos: it is spoilt by some buildings under construction and by power lines.

We stayed for 6 days at Elounda Gulf Villas and got upgraded to a Junior suite. The suite was beautiful, with a private pool, big smart TV and a lovely view of the sea. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and we loved the breakfast and the garden. The bedroom and bathroom had glass walls facing the sea, allowing us to enjoy the view at any time. The champagne breakfasts were a highlight, with a wide variety of options cooked to order.
Can recommend this hotel.

The service is amazing. The best hotel we have ever stayed in. Clean sheets every day. Room cleaned thoroughly every day. The staff can't do enough for you. When it rained they produced an umbrella. When you arrived at the pool someone would appear and put up the sun umbrella. Cases were taken to and from the room by buggy. Choice of pillows. Complimentary bowl of fruit, water and wine in the room on arrival. 35 minutes walk into Elouda or hourly local bus service available to local areas.
The hotel is on a steep hill so could be difficult for those who have difficulty walking. However if you have a problem, they have buggies to transport you up and down the slope if necessary.

Absolutely loved the private pool and the luxurious spa villa. The staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely felt like I was in a paradise.
Oh, and the beaches were closed in October. How convenient.

Extremely comfortable. We got a discounted price so we felt that it was fairly good value for money. The gardens were full of beautiful scented flowering shrubs.
We didn't want to spend all our time there, which I am sure most of their guests do. It was awkwardly located and we needed to drive to get to the local tavern as where we preferred to eat. The site was also very steep with many steps and badly lit at night. The beautiful infinity swimming pool was somewhat marred by the outlook over a maze of telephone wires and a concrete hotel below.

I booked a suite but upon arrival they gave me a free upgrade for a villa with 3 bedrooms and bathrooms + private pool with a marvelous sea view! Staff very friendly and helpful; outstanding room service, villa decorated with taste for luxury and comfort. Elounda is a bit far from the civilized world but absolutely worth the trip for those who seek for quietness and splendid views.
Official rates for the villas are very expensive. I was very happy they gave me an upgrade to a villa for the price of a suite. I had great value for money. But, the villa is a bit small for 6 people. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms but living room/kitchen/dining room ( all in one open space ) and outside moving space are limited. If rented by 6, they would fall over each others feet. The villa is great for 1 to 3 p but in such case prices are clearly over rated and no good value for money. All the villa's are build upon the hill and individually enclosed by walls. No access to the sea or a beach (only sea view ) and no garden, only a small private terrace and pool. Those who wish to move around, need to take the car. Breakfast room is down the hill, the path very steep with quite some stairs, so not ideal for eldery people ( who can however order the hotel trolley to drive them up and down the hill )

I had an amazing stay at this hotel with its clean and well-maintained facilities. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure I had access to transportation either via taxi or the private shuttle to the private beach. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering both continental and local delicacies. The location was perfect, situated by the main pool with exceptional views over the bay down the hill. I loved everything about this hotel!
Nothings.

Unfortunately there was nothing we liked.
Everything, Manager lousy it reflects on to hotel. It is dirty, dusty, old and totally run down and for sure not a hotel to be named a Small Luxury Hotel.

The staff was warm and friendly, going out of their way to offer personal and friendly service. The accommodation was comfortable and immaculately clean, with wonderful views and a lovely pool area.- The location was set back from the beach in the hills, allowing for glorious views over the bay. Plus, there was a mini market nearby for essentials.
There were some check-in difficulties, with lack of information and struggling to eat upon arrival. The layout of the resort was confusing and there wasn't much help available to figure it out.
